Little Aston Attic Cinema (In Progress)
Transforming an underused attic into a dedicated home cinema is never a straightforward undertaking – but it’s one The Big Picture relish. This Little Aston project, currently in progress, is a perfect example of unlocking a home’s hidden potential.

Little Aston Attic Cinema (In Progress)
The before images tell a familiar story: a raw, sloping attic space with all the promise in the world but none of the comfort. What The Big Picture are creating in its place is a tailored media room designed around the way this family actually watches – immersive, social, and built to last.

Every element is being considered from the ground up. Acoustics, seating, screen position, and lighting are all being engineered to work in harmony within the constraints and character of the roofline, turning architectural quirks into design features rather than obstacles. The result, when complete, will be a space that feels a world away from the attic it once was – a private cinema that rivals the best commercial screening rooms, without ever leaving home.

We’ll be updating this case study with the full specification and final photography as the project reaches completion. Watch this space.
